GLITCH COLOMBIA Huila La Loma XO Rum Barrel Washed
This coffee comes from La Loma Farm in Colombia, a long-term partner of GLITCH COFFEE, and uses a highly innovative processing method called "Rum Barrel".
This batch of coffee underwent a special processing procedure, resulting in a unique and rich flavor.
After harvesting, coffee cherries undergo natural fermentation, utilizing only the cherries themselves to activate microorganisms.
Then, rum wine is added, and it ferments for another 8 days.
Next, place it in a 200-liter sealed plastic container to ferment for 150 hours, then remove the pectin and carry out a drying process for 18 to 20 days.
Finally, it is aged for 30 days in oak barrels used by local Colombian liqueur producers, giving the coffee a complex aroma and flavor profile reminiscent of dark liqueur, chocolate, and raisins.
This coffee, meticulously crafted by renowned Colombian producer Rodrigo Sanchez, boasts a distinctive flavor profile.
We cordially invite you to savor this unique and captivating flavor experience.
