Days Coffee Roaster COLOMBIA BANANA CAKE

Sale price HK$224.00 Regular price $320.00

Another unique coffee bean from Colombia has arrived fresh!

The name is just as impactful as the previous one, "Apricot Punch," and it's a name that makes a lasting impression!

Its name is "Banana Cake"!
The name comes from the rich, sweet aroma of the coffee beans themselves, reminiscent of banana cake.

The processing of these coffee beans is extremely complex, utilizing the latest modern technology for meticulous processing:

  1. First, select fully ripe coffee cherries, keeping the pulp intact. Then, raise the temperature of the cherries and cool them to 10°C. (Heat shock treatment)

  2. Next, remove the pulp and allow it to oxidize (aerobic fermentation) for 10 to 12 hours.

  3. It is then transferred to a bioreactor, mixed with starter culture, yeast, ripe fruit such as apricots, and sealed. (Cultivation and yeast fermentation, and infusion of fruit aroma)

  4. The reactor is filled with nitrogen gas to create an oxygen-free environment. (Nitrogen filling)

During this process, watermelon and other high-sugar fruit juices are added to promote fermentation and add more layers of flavor.

The temperature, pH value, sugar content and other parameters in the bioreactor are strictly controlled and the fermentation process is precisely adjusted to achieve the desired flavor.

This process once again demonstrates state-of-the-art technology!

This coffee has a flavor profile full of rich, sweet fruity aromas, such as banana and honeydew melon.
Whether it's a drip brew or a latte, it's perfect for drinking! Adding milk will make its sweet fruity flavor even more prominent, giving it a banana milkshake-like texture.

You absolutely must try this special coffee!
