FUGLEN COFFEE DANCHE / ETHIOPIA

Sale price HK$220.00

The rich, liquid texture created by the natural drying process is reminiscent of the sweet flesh of peaches and strawberries. The fruity flavor is refreshing and slightly tart, like fresh peaches and strawberries. A subtle sweet aroma wafts through your nose as you swallow.

Enjoyed as an espresso, the flavor is more concentrated, with hints of high-cocoa chocolate or cocoa nibs, creating a chocolate-encased dried fruit experience. The finish is punctuated by delicate floral notes reminiscent of black tea, adding a touch of elegance.

When consumed with a slightly diluted brewing method such as Americano, the overall flavor becomes softer and more refreshing and delicate like black tea.

This year, from Danche Washing Station Once again, the outstanding coffee from the company has arrived. As in previous years, we have purchased multiple batches of beans from this processing plant, and this time we are bringing you the first batch of beans from the " Natural Process ".

This season's exceptional performance stems from the increased maturity of the coffee cherries. As the cherries slowly absorb nutrients and mature, the resulting coffee exhibits a more elegant, clean acidity and natural sweetness. Not all coffees exhibit a distinctly fruity acidity, but this year's batch does.

This year's Natural Process The batch has a lower fermentation level than in previous years, resulting in a cleaner, clearer overall impression. Because the fruit, including the core, is dried during the natural processing method, improper control can easily lead to a strong fermentation aroma, masking the original clean acidity and even making the taste thick and greasy.

We strive for a balance that allows for natural sip after sip. Through meticulous fermentation management, this year's batch successfully maintains a gorgeous fruity aroma while exhibiting exceptional transparency. In this sense, this year's Danche Natural Process batch is arguably the most exceptional yet.

About Fuglen Coffee

FUGLEN means bird in Norwegian. The bird depicted in the logo is a migratory bird called the tern, which flies the longest distance in the world and can be seen from the port of Oslo. FUGLEN's history began in Oslo in 1963. This small café is a coffee-based cafe during the day and turns into a cocktail bar at night. Developed in a unique way, raising the bar for coffee in Oslo. The interior decoration in Oslo is 100% Norwegian retro design.

In 2012, Migratory Bird landed in Tokyo and opened its first overseas store in Shibuya. Subsequently, the second store FUGLEN ASAKUSA was opened in Japan in September 2018, located near Sensoji Temple, one of Tokyo's most popular tourist attractions. FUGLEN OSLO Similar to FUGLEN TOKYO, the original taste of FUGLEN OSLO is reflected in Asakusa, allowing customers to feel the nostalgic atmosphere as if it has been there for a long time. FUGLEN completed FUGLEN COFFEE ROASTERS in 2014 and started baking in Japan. They continue to research the light roasting method established in Oslo, so you can feel the original wonderful qualities of coffee, such as fruity and floral aromas, and a transparent and sweet aftertaste. We produce coffee and deliver it to everyone in Japan.
