Mel Coffee COLOMBIA Wilmar Guarnizo Geisha
Wilmar Garnizo Geisha X Grade coffee is coffee produced in the small town of Tarki in the Huila region. Speaking of Huila, due to its unique soil, people will mention famous production areas such as St. Augustine and Palestine, but the small town of Tarqui is still an unknown area. The Guarnizo family, consisting of nine men and one woman, were pioneers in coffee production in the town and are still active today. The brothers each own their own farm but have one thing in mind: making the best coffee in Taki. Not only do they support each other in making coffee, but they also support each other in doing housework. Wilmar, the eldest of 10 children, inherited La Vega Farm from his father in 2002. However, not a single coffee tree was planted on the farm at that time. However, his brothers had already begun growing coffee on their own farm, so Wilmer learned their expertise from them and planted his first coffee tree on his own farm. Now, coffee has become the brothers’ main source of income.
