aromas del valle, located in the cajamarca region of northern peru, transitioned from an association to a cooperative in 2021. The cooperative has approximately 300 members and aims to strengthen representation, increase member participation and improve access to finance.
Their goal is to develop new markets and actively participate in the local and international coffee movement. This time the coffee is produced in the northern region around Jaén and San Ignacio.

Aromas Del Valle inspires its members with high quality and social contribution through partners such as Cafe Selva Norte* on issues such as education, reforestation and microfinance. To ensure transparency to non-members, prices and quality are disclosed with the consent of the members at a democratic and highly transparent general meeting. Incentives are also subject to approval by union members.

Their roasting team purchases unique green beans from various green bean trading companies and roasts them using Probat UG22.Masu at their roastery in Mitaka. Roasted coffee is cupped every week to check its quality and continue to update roasting methods. They share information such as roasting intentions with everyone in the weekly report, coordinate the "taste" of each store every month, and the entire team pursues quality and strives to provide customers with the most delicious coffee.
