Japanese Incense Incense Oedo Incense-Flower Street Peony

Regular price HK$180.00

Edo (Tokyo’s old name) culture was a playful and stylish one, born from a combination of elegance and commonplace, vulgarity and refinement. People enjoy the four seasons, cherish their friends and neighbors, and live a vibrant life.
This collection was created by a Tokyo-based incense burner master to express the fragrant scent of old Edo. A thin column of smoke summons you to the world of sleek modernism that Edo represented. We invite you to immerse yourself in the fragrant world of Edo.

The charming peonies were famous in Edo. Its charming shape is reminiscent of a beautiful geisha, and staring at the peonies you can almost hear the music and see the dancing of the geisha area. This is the exclusive world of the privileged few, and it is said that the time a customer spends in a teahouse is measured in incense. With the fragrance of peonies, "Queen of Flowers" evokes this beautiful yet ephemeral world.
