The "DEEP45" that has been released is a filter cup developed with the concept of forming a deep filtration layer inside the filter cup by narrowing the bottom angle to 45 degrees. However, due to the 45-degree angle, a small amount cannot form an ideal deep filtration layer, so the ideal deep filtration layer can only be achieved by deliberately making 3 to 7 cups.
However, in response to enthusiastic feedback from people at home and abroad about the one-cup version of DEEP, and the growing popularity of hand-drip enjoyment centered on one cup, we developed FLOWER DRIPPER DEEP 27".

Why is it 27°?
After repeated trials, we found the ideal bottom angle for the cup. It took about 5 years from conception to completion.

(1) Even one cup of coffee grounds can form a sufficient filter layer (a deposit of coffee powder).
(2) The ideal extraction speed of CAFEC is that the speed of pouring water from the top and the speed of extracting coffee liquid from the bottom are the same.


Brewing with DEEP 27 will bring more body and sweetness to your coffee. It extracts the characteristics of each coffee, extracting only the pleasant flavor components.

Special structure of the filter bowl During the development of FLOWER DRIPPER DEEP 27, we always took into account The balance between filter cup and paper, the pursuit of "the ultimate cup" Filter cup. We were able to design such a special flower-shaped dripper structure only because CAFEC has a deep understanding of coffee paper filters.

Point 1
The perfect rib height means that brewing speed will not drop even if the base angle becomes narrower. This is because the height of the ribs changes subtly towards the bottom hole. This ideal rib height can be found in paper and Maintain an appropriate air space between the filter cups until the end and A strong osmotic pressure is created inside the filter cup, which brews delicious coffee.

Optimal bottom hole size adjustment The height of the rib will inevitably change the size of the bottom hole. But if the bottom hole is too large, the paper will protrude too much from the dripper and will not be able to bear the weight of the coffee grounds and hot water in the second half of the brew, and the paper will easily tear. On the other hand, if the bottom hole is too small, the paper will not protrude much and the powder will get clogged near the bottom hole and slow down the brewing speed. The DEEP 27 dripper shape keeps the strength of the paper till the end and does not slow down the brewing speed. After many trials, the optimal size of the bottom hole was finally reached.

Its shape allows for direct brewing into the cup
DEEP 27 is the ultimate cup Filter cup. Therefore, when designing, we also assumed that you would brew directly into the cup. Through the curved base of the dripper, we have managed to keep the distance between the dripper and the cup further away. As a result, the bottom tip of the paper is less likely to become soaked by the coffee, preventing the filter from tearing and grounds from entering the coffee.
