KALITA MI185 Mino ware ceramic filter cup - sand black
Mino ware has a history of 1,300 years and is produced in the Tono area of Gifu Prefecture, Japan's largest pottery production area. The Tono region consists of several sub-districts, all of which are renowned for their exquisite pottery production: Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kani. This beautiful dripper is made in Dachi Town, Toki City, and the "DACHI" brand is engraved on the bottom of each dripper.
Made with Yohen glazes, they change color when fired in the kiln - each glaze takes on its own unique hue, making your dripper unique.
The body of the vessel is glazed to a smooth and soft sheen, while the edges such as the bottom of the base are unglazed, exposing the original matte earthenware texture. Warm, earthy tones and a comfortable feel make this Made in Japan dripper your new favorite.
The Kalita Wave dripper series is renowned for its consistent and repeatable brewing performance: the unique flat bottom shape and holes for controlled water flow help you get the most out of your coffee. The holes of this MI dripper are slightly larger by 2mm than the standard Kalita Wave, which makes the cup more flavorful and aromatic.
