Japanese Incense Incense Co., Ltd. Oedo Incense - Yuya no Shizuku

Regular price HK$180.00

Edo (Tokyo’s old name) culture was a playful and stylish one, born from a combination of elegance and commonplace, vulgarity and refinement. People enjoy the four seasons, cherish their friends and neighbors, and live a vibrant life.
This collection was created by a Tokyo-based incense burner master to express the fragrant scent of old Edo. A thin column of smoke summons you to the world of sleek modernism that Edo represented. We invite you to immerse yourself in the fragrant world of Edo.

Floral fragrance
During the Edo period (1603-1868), people did not have bathrooms in their homes, so public baths were built to meet the need. Initially they were steam baths, later large bathtubs were developed. The bathhouse was an egalitarian place as people mixed together without distinction of age, gender or class, without wearing clothes. A popular product for these bathers was a scented lotion made from distilled floral essences using a type of alembic apparatus. Yuya no Shizuku is a floral and warm fragrance that feels like the moment you step out of the bath.

Contents: 60 sticks of incense sticks and a tin incense holder. Burning time: about 12 minutes for each stick to refresh, relax, read, listen to music, yoga, and bathe.
