GLITCH Coffee ETHIOPIA Sidema Nigusse Gemeda
Fresh new crop coffee from the Sidama Highlands of Ethiopia has arrived.
Managed by Nigusse Gemeda, the 2020 Ethiopia Cup of Excellence champion producer, Karamo Coffee is located on the Karamo Agena farm in the Sidama Bura district, utilizing the cool environment at an altitude of 2,200–2,400 meters to continuously produce high-quality coffee.
Karamo Coffee has previously focused solely on natural processing, but this batch marks its first attempt at the washed process.
Fermentation is carried out at low temperature for 48 hours, with fresh cold water replaced every 24 hours to ensure a gentle and uniform fermentation process and precise control over flavor development.
The glass offers a refreshing fruity flavor reminiscent of grapes and red apples, with excellent balance and a pleasant, long-lasting finish.
A cup that fully showcases the potential of the Sidama Highlands, a masterpiece embodying the spirit of Nigusse's new challenges, and worth savoring.
