KURASU KYOTO RWANDA Ruli

Sale price HK$130.00

Some of you may remember the great batch of coffee we received at the Rully Washing Station last year - this year we received another great batch of coffee, this time in the washed variety.

The “Lot. 1004” in the lot name indicates that the coffee cherries were harvested on April 10th - the Dukun de Cava cooperative that operates the Luli cherries washing station is known for its strict quality control and management style. The cooperative also plays an important role in the local community, encouraging sustainable production, creating jobs, and providing education and childcare services.

While the quality of Luanda coffee tends to vary from location to location due to the compactness of the land, the batch we received from the Luli fruit washing station had a unique, almost rich fruity aroma reminiscent of citrus fruits and red apples.

During the roasting process, we focus on bringing out the rich sweetness of Bourbon coffee, especially in the second half of the roasting (when the moisture content of the coffee beans is low and the roasting speed is usually fast), and we control the temperature very carefully.

We are delighted to be part of celebrating this special coffee and hope that it inspires people to learn more about its country of origin, thereby encouraging sustainable development and continued access to great coffee in the future.
