Raw Sugar Roast was founded by Mr. Masashi Oda, who has accumulated many years of experience in roasting coffee shops at home and abroad. He and the chief roaster Mr. Yuya Kosakata, who has been a barista for about 10 years, have the same philosophy. Established in Tokyo in 2019. It started as a wholesaler of baked beans and opened a baking shop near Tokyo Haneda Airport in the spring of 2021. Raw Sugar Roast’s motto is to express the various cultures they have experienced around the world through coffee.
Raw Sugar Roast uses Giesen roasters made in the Netherlands. "Improving coffee quality" is the goal we have been pursuing since its establishment. It is not only the taste, but also the change of coffee concept. They respect all coffee cultures to date and are committed to inheriting them and pioneering the future.
