townsfolk coffee ETHIOPIA Bona Zuria Sedaka - Washed
Light-bodied like tea, with a sweet, nutty flavor. As the coffee cools, you can also discern tangerine notes. This batch of green beans was purchased by us during our on-site visit to the producing region in 2025.
Sedaka Washing Station is located in Bonazuria, Sidamo region. It is a production facility owned by the renowned green bean exporter Trabocca. The washing station aims to produce high-grade specialty coffees such as G-1 and G-2, and is operated by 15 professional staff members under the leadership of Manager Mr. Kebede.
The coffee trees here are in their prime, allowing the washing station to maintain extremely high quality while also achieving excellent yields.
Although the washing process uses relatively traditional methods, the station ensures the stability of green bean quality by setting strict water quality standards for fermentation and washing. Sidamo's unique microclimate and terroir impart distinctive flavor characteristics to the coffee, which has received high acclaim on the international specialty coffee stage in recent years.
