What is alcoholic coffee?

This drink has gained increasing attention in recent years, offering a sophisticated flavor profile that allows one to enjoy both the robust aroma of dark roasted coffee and the delicate notes of sake.
[About the wine cellar]
Miyashita Brewery, located in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, was founded in 1918 and is a long-established sake brewery. Adhering to the philosophy of "equal emphasis on tradition and innovation," the brewery produces not only sake but also a diverse range of beverages including shochu, liqueurs, and craft beer. Miyashita Brewery's strict quality control and unique techniques have earned it a high reputation both in Japan and abroad.
Regarding the alcohol used:
The authentic rice shochu used in this product is the "First Generation Kamezo," aged for an extended period in sherry barrels. The shochu is left to rest in barrels previously used for aging grape spirits (sherry), allowing the sweet components absorbed from the barrels to infuse the liquor, creating a deep and rich flavor. The far-infrared rays emitted by the earthenware jars further enhance the smoothness and roundness of the spirit, achieving a superior level in both aroma and taste.
The flavor of alcohol and coffee
This sake coffee is made with premium rice shochu and select coffee beans. The sweet aroma from the sherry cask blends perfectly with the bitterness of the coffee, resulting in a rich, layered flavor on the palate and a mellow, elegant finish. This sake coffee can be enjoyed hot or cold, allowing you to savor its delicate and luxurious taste in either way.
