Members of the Fernandez family each operate estates and cultivate coffee in the Colasay region. Compared to other producers in the same area, they harvest coffee cherries at a riper stage, resulting in a more robust and full-bodied sweetness.
Most Peruvian coffees released this season give an impression of brightness and delicacy, but this one presents a completely different, richer and creamier texture.
It carries flavor notes of apricot, chocolate, and macadamia nuts, performing very balanced, sweet, and with a rounded mouthfeel overall. If used for espresso extraction and brewed with milk, its sweetness will double, elevating its performance even further.
The finish subtly reveals an intoxicating aftertaste, rich and aromatic like red wine.
