townsfolk coffee KENYA Gathaithi AA
It has the refreshing taste and sweetness of rhubarb jam, with a rich texture that cools down to a mellow taste like hibiscus tea.
Produced in the Nyeri region, a famous coffee producing area in Kenya. Strong acidity, firm taste, rich sweetness. Excellent quality!
Surrounded by the Kenya and Aberdare mountain ranges, the Nyeri region has well-drained volcanic ash soils, making it an ideal environment for growing specialty coffee, which is renowned for being one of the best coffees in the world.
The Gathaithi Producers Association began in 1967. To support the livelihoods of its member coffee farmers, the association provides financial assistance for children's school fees, etc. based on the previous year's production, and in recent years has also worked on wastewater treatment to protect the environment. They believe that producing high-quality coffee can improve lives and are committed to ensuring sustainable production.
