townsfolk coffee NICARAGUA Buenos Aires Java

Sale price HK$160.00

This wine has a unique chamomile flavor and a rich, sweet taste similar to brown sugar. When chilled, it also releases a bright apricot aroma.

Buenos Aires is home to a prestigious Nicaraguan estate, a COE champion. We invited them to create a special edition coffee bean for Townsfolk using a customized process.

The estate's signature Java grape variety undergoes a brief anaerobic fermentation followed by a washing process, resulting in a sweeter taste that fully showcases the floral characteristics of Java grapes.

Buenos Aires The estate is located in Nova Segovia province, bordering Honduras in northern Nicaragua. (The text abruptly shifts to a seemingly unrelated topic: running this...) The Valadares family, who own the estate, originally lived in Honduras, but moved there as the civil war intensified.

They gradually purchased more land and now own 10. The estate is currently managed by the fourth-generation heirs, Louis Emilio and the Orman brothers.

They are coffee producers who adapt to all kinds of changes and spare no effort to produce consistently high-quality coffee for their loyal customers year after year. The creation of this batch of customized coffee is thanks to their meticulous collection and analysis of data from the production process. This is indeed one of the fruits of their hard work.

About townsfolk coffee

townsfolk coffee is located in the center of Kanazawa, right in front of a lush park. Large windows offer views of the city and changing seasons.

The owner accumulated work experience in specialty coffee shops in Tokyo and Copenhagen, Denmark, and opened this store in July 2020. They only produce high-quality coffee with unique flavors, and they strive to blend the best of Japan and Denmark to deliver delicious coffee.

Scandinavian coffees tend to get the spotlight for being lightly roasted, but they excel at recognizing the potential of each coffee and creating flavors that express it in the most appealing balance possible. At townsfolk coffee, they follow Nordic roasting methods to create authentic Nordic roasted coffee with a taste that even Japanese people can easily relate to.
