Morihico No.4-6
Baking taste from Hokkaido
Morihico Coffee
If you have been to Sapporo, Hokkaido, and you like coffee, you may have made a pilgrimage to Morihiko Coffee Main Store. Morihiko Main Store is a fairy-tale-like cabin located in the Enshan Park area. It was renovated from an old house that was over 60 years old. You can already feel the traces of time from outside the door. This small store was opened by President Ichikawa in 1996. In more than 20 years, Morihiko has opened 13 branches, two of which are outside Asahikawa City, and the remaining 11 are all in Sapporo City. The 13 stores have different designs and concepts, but they all use coffee roasted by the "Plantation" factory. This coffee factory converted from a warehouse covers an area of about 6,600 square feet, and all roasting processes are completed here.
Due to the low humidity in Hokkaido, coffee beans that do not like moisture will become better and have a stronger flavor during the roasting process.
Now you don’t have to go to Hokkaido to make a cup of Hokkaido’s baking taste yourself.
