The brewery is Machida Shuzo Co., Ltd., which is located in Ryugo Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, surrounded by the natural beauty of mountains and sea.
The company sells only hand-aged sake, respecting the culture cultivated throughout the company's history. Its taste is mild, smooth and refreshing, and is deeply loved by a wide range of people.

Amami Brown Sugar Shochu [Sato no Hikari] made with black koji rice. The name comes from the wish to "bring dawn to Amami Village."
Black koji is a traditional koji used to make shochu in Ryukyu and southern Kyushu since ancient times. Generally speaking, shochu made with black koji has an aromatic and rich taste, but this product has a slightly lighter taste due to reduced pressure distillation. The flavor of brown sugar soju is rich and refreshing.
