About Fuglen Coffee

Fuglen means "bird" in Norwegian. The bird depicted in the logo is an Arctic Tern, a migratory bird that travels the longest distance in the world and can be seen in the Oslo harbor. Fuglen's history began in Oslo in 1963. This small café operates as a coffee-focused café during the day and transforms into a cocktail bar at night. It developed in a unique way, raising Oslo's coffee standards. The interior of the Oslo store features 100% Norwegian vintage design.

In 2012, the migratory bird landed in Tokyo, opening its first overseas branch in Shibuya. Subsequently, in September 2018, its second store in Japan, Fuglen Asakusa, opened near Senso-ji Temple, one of Tokyo's most popular tourist attractions. Similar to Fuglen Oslo and Fuglen Tokyo, the original essence of Fuglen Oslo is embodied in Asakusa, allowing customers to experience a nostalgic atmosphere as if it has existed for a long time. In 2014, Fuglen completed Fuglen Coffee Roasters and began roasting in Japan. They continue to research the light roasting method established in Oslo, allowing you to experience the wonderful original qualities of coffee, such as fruitiness, florality, and a clear, sweet aftertaste. We produce and deliver coffee to everyone in Japan.
