ONIBUS COFFEE HONDURAS / Darwin Moreno

Regular price HK$220.00

Introducing Darwin Moreno Coffee from Santa Barbara County.

His farm, Los Tres Cedros, located in the village of El Cedral, was developed through the efforts of the Moreno family.
The Moreno family has been involved in the coffee industry here for a long time, but now it is home to many of the best coffees and producers in the San Babar area, continuing to produce many of the high-quality coffees grown in this region. Attention of buyers from all over the world.
Mr. Darwin usually lives in Spain, so when he is away the farm is managed by his brother Mr. Wilson, but he always returns to Cedral during harvest season and sends his products to us and carries out the processing steps.

In addition to the Los Tres Cedros farm, we are involved in several other farms, growing mainly the Pacas variety, but also Catuai and the Kenyan native SL variety.
I have the impression that he is a producer who actively uses honey and anaerobic fermentation processes, but since this is my first opportunity to introduce his coffee, I chose the washed process to make it easier to feel what I have here. Terroir.
I would love it if you could feel the Moreno family and Cedral heritage in his coffee.

The coffee of Eudaldo Moreno Lopez in Darwin is supported by local exporter "San Vicente".

[About San Vicente]

We are headquartered in the small town of Pena Blanca in northwestern Honduras and currently do business with more than 200 farmers, mainly those active in the Santa Barbara area.
The San Vicente team, led by owner Mr. Ángel, consists of several people and provides local attendance, cupping and trading support to coffee importers, roasters and other visitors from around the world.
Mr. Ángel and his employee Mr. Benjamín are also owners of coffee farms and have achieved many successes at international fairs such as COE.
We also support producers with quality controls, such as moisture and water activity values, which are crucial to maintaining quality, and green coffee is shipped with a moisture value of 10-11% and a water activity value of 0.40- 0.60aw.
