Gathhaithi Producers Association consists of 1,656 farmers. The Nyeri region is surrounded by Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains, and its volcanic ash soil is rich in nutrients for plant growth. The altitude is as high as 1720m, and even in Africa, the temperature is between 16-26℃. Due to its proximity to the equator, there are two harvest seasons a year, and the climate is suitable for coffee production.
To support the lives of our member farmers, Gathaithi partners with an organization called Coffee Stewardship Services to provide support for children’s school fees and emergency needs based on the matsu harvest. Many coffee-producing countries are working hard to produce high-quality coffee and improve the lives of coffee producers.
