[ GLITCH COFFEE & ROASTERS, a street corner artisan coffee shop in Tokyo ]
A coffee shop with a unique feel even though it is hidden in a street corner.
GLITCH COFFEE & ROASTERS main store is located in Jimbocho, which is lined with antique bookstores and teahouses. In the thick literary atmosphere, the simple and rustic style constructed only through wood and metal decorations attracts everyone. Although the space inside the store is not large and half of the space is occupied by a huge coffee roasting machine, it is precisely because of this that everyone can feel the owner's dedication to coffee roasting.
The owner of GLITCH COFFEE, who is both a barista and a coffee roaster, is Mr. Suzuki Kiyokawa, the 2014 AeroPress Japan Champion. In order to bring out the flavor and layers of the fruits in the beans to the extreme, he not only uses high-quality coffee beans grown by reputable farms, but also deliberately breaks the Japanese tradition of deep roasting and insists on using exclusively researched light roasting as the main method, so that everyone can taste the delicate and unique flavor of the coffee, and then settle down and enjoy the coffee time in the literary atmosphere. No wonder it was selected as one of the top 50 best coffees in Asia by The Big7 Travel in 2019 just a few years after opening.
